Welcome to our BLOG

Hello, and welcome to this highly informative PayCash news site, published by Cyphermint, Inc. Starting next week, you can expect to see a variety of interesting posts, and discussions going on here.

By engaging in a free forum on the issues of security, versus ease of use, and closed versus open standards we can build a better payment solution product. This better product will be always be defined by the users. That is why we need your input. Within the bounds of good taste, you can pretty much say whatever’s on your mind.

You’ll find lots of different kinds of content here. After all, we have a lot of territory to cover. For anyone who is interested in the electronic payments industry, wireless trends, mobile commerce and technology industry as well as interactive kiosks, we will feature your comments here. We will also touch down on the banked, under-banked and un-banked consumer market as they relate to the PayCash solution.

PayCash is a highly secure and highly scalable payment solution for financial and eCommerce transactions on the Internet, self-service kiosks, ATMs and cell phones. We view cell phones as the new personal computer that serve as a seamless payment product for consumers regardless of where they conduct their business.

There is a major push to develop a cellular payment solution today. Large companies such as VISA, Microsoft, Google, PayPal, Nokia, Motorola and Yahoo and smaller companies like Ikobo, Lime Wire, Firethorn and Obopay are developing mobile wallets. Everyone seems to have a different approach. Some companies are looking at RFID, some are SIM based, some use JAVA and BREW, and some offer SMS-MMS based solutions. We have researched, reviewed and looked at all of these solutions. Each one has advantages and disadvantages to be considered. Additionally, various mCommerce providers focus on varying market segments and consumers.

Today PayCash is WAP, JAVA and SMS based and is rooted in providing the highest level of security and scalability. All of this is wrapped in a menu driven, user defined, “point and pay” wallet. We designed our mobile wallet to work with any carrier, in any language and with any currency. We used our many years of experience providing Internet and self-service payments to guide us in building a cellular product that is not dependant on any manufacturer. We wanted PayCash Mobile to be truly mobile and that means accessible from any device, anywhere at any time. We designed PayCash so it can be linked to any stored value account, credit, debit, bank account or stored value card. PayCash can even be funded by depositing cash at over 80,000 locations including Walmart. This allows consumers without bank accounts to enjoy the same financial freedom that people with bank accounts do.

So please join us and help us make PayCash a better product by sharing your experience and ideas with us.

Welcome to our BLOG.

Thank You
Joe Barboza
President and PayCash User.
